Chiropractic
During your
first visit, the doctor will ask about your history, whether
your problem is related to sport, work or recreation. You will
receive a complete spinal exam to locate the source of your
spinal problems. The doctor will take "range of motion" measurements.
The
doctor will also take x-rays of your spine, however, no x-rays
are performed on pregnant women or toddlers/babies. Your
x-rays will be studied by the doctor, and a schedule of care
will then be setup for you. This determines how many times
you will need to get "adjusted" during the first improvements
stage.
After the first stage, you will get a re-examination where
you will again have x-rays taken. You will be shown your
old and new x-rays and you will see your progress. You will
then be given a new schedule of care. The goal
is to get you past the first stage and into the
relief stage, which is most successful through the
combination of prevention and correction of misalignment. |
